Present: Cllr Wakefield, Sneath, Kirk, Tibbs, Ingham, Henderson, Cooper, Sanderson, Wright, Dist. Cllr Casson, a member of the Green Group, one resident and Parish Clerk.
1) Chairman’s welcome
Chairman welcomed everyone to the September meeting.
2) Public Forum
A member of the Green Group gave their quarterly update on the churchyard.
Cllr Sneath informed councillors that there had been a concerned resident on Broad Lane in regards to a company carrying out works. This was agreed that it was not a parish council matter.

Clerk informed councillors that had quotes had now all been submitted to the Clerk for roadway works. Agreed to be discussed in closed session.

Cllr Kirk explained the process of tarmacking/resurfacing to councillors.
13) M S E Ward
Cllr Wright submitted a receipt for new playing field bins. £233 agreed to donate. Proposed by Cllr Cooper, seconded Cllr Kirk.
All agreed to pay the £500 donation to MSE village hall as previously agreed once the Clerk receives a letter from the secretary.
Cllr Wright gave a short update on how the village hall has made a profit on recent events held.

Max speed of 70mph recorded on Common Road MSE. Average speeds of 38/40mph.
Sid will be situated Roman Bank next.

Village Voice 4th September
Public rights of way survey to be carried out by LCC. LCC asked for councillors to volunteer.
Resident emailed Clerk to ask if anything else can be done in regards to speeding on Station Road as the 30mph signs have not had an effect in their opinion.
Clerk informed councillors of a slide that has been offered as a donation to the park. Agreed it would cost extra money and two slides already ordered as it would need a frame building or placing on a mound of soil as it is incomplete.
