Present: Cllr Wakefield (Chair), Woolf, Hahn, Sneath, Kirk, Ingham, Henderson, Cooper, CCllr Gibson, 5 members of the public, and Parish Clerk.

 

1) Chairman’s welcome 

The Chairman welcomed everyone to the November meeting.

 

2) Public Forum 

Public concerned about mud on path at top of Fold Lane along with condition of road and speeding. CCllr Gibson discussed with residents and agreed to get Highways to take a look.

13) Moulton Ward

Bin at the top of Church Lane will be emptied more regularly.

 

Football goal offered for free for the play area. Agreed to collect it.

 

Clerk gave an update on the play area and equipment that needs correcting before the final invoice is paid. (A few points arisen from the ROPSA inspection)

 

Official opening 8th November 10am. CCllr Gibson congratulated the council on finally opening the play area.

 

Insurance premium increasing by £248.53 with the new play equipment added on. Agreed, proposed Cllr Sneath, seconded Cllr Ingham.

 

Cemetery roadway discussed, agreed to now go ahead and instruct contractor. Proposed by Cllr Henderson, seconded Cllr Hahn.

 

Cllr Hahn concerned about the path along Broad Lane in a poor state of repair. Street light covered by trees Broad Lane also mentioned.

 

14) M S E Ward

The flying of the flag at all times at the war memorial discussed. Agreed to purchase new flag if the current union flag is not owned by the pc. Proposed by Cllr Woolf, seconded Cllr Sneath.

Clerk to ask contractor to fix flag pole.

 

15) Moulton Chapel

Still awaiting solicitor quotes for hall legal agreement.

Village Voice 6th November, agreed to inform residents of park opening and dog bags being removed in the future.
