The Annual Parish Meeting of The Moulton’s Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 6th May 2025 at 7pm at Moulton Community Centre.

DRAFT Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting and AGM of The Moulton’s Parish Council held on Tuesday 6th May 2025 at Moulton Community Centre 

 

Present: Parish Cllrs Cooper, Tibbs, Woolf, Wright, Ingham, Henderson, Sneath, Sanderson, Kirk, Wakefield, Parish Clerk and three members of the public.

 

 

1) Chairman’s welcome 

The Chairman read out a short summary of the past year and thanked everyone for their hard work.

 

2) Public Forum 

A member of The Green Group read a short update report to councillors on how the areas in the churchyard were progressing and future events.

 

A member of the Moulton Park committee gave an update.

Cllr Cooper proposed that Cllr Wakefield stayed on as Chair, seconded by Cllr Ingham. Agreed.

Cllr Sanderson proposed Cllr Sneath and this was seconded by Cllr Kirk. Agreed.

 

5) Appointment of Burial Board

All agreed for all councillors to be on the board.

 

6) Appointment of Allotment Group

All agreed for all councillors to be on the board.

 

7) Appointment of Management Group

All agreed for the Chair, Vice Chair, past Chairman Cllr Wright, Cllr Kirk and Cllr Henderson to be appointed.

All agreed for Cllrs to continue as of the previous year.

Cemetery

Cllr Woolf arrived.

Refunds of exclusive rights discussed. Agreed the council would buy back the plot for the same cost as a one-off goodwill gesture. Proposed by Cllr Kirk and seconded Cllr Ingham.

 

Condition of the roadway discussed and agreed to visit the site after the meeting and to add to the agenda for next month.

Broken tomb discussed and agreed to instruct contractor to make safe by laying flat if the Clerk still has not had any feedback from the DAC in 14 days. Proposed by Cllr Wright, seconded Cllr Kirk.

 

Potential dead Monkey Puzzle tree discussed and agreed for Clerk to ask the tree officer to attend a site visit for conformation.

Cllr Woolf has had a request for two more advisory banners for Fen Gate. Agreed to purchase one more banner. Proposed Cllr Tibbs and seconded Cllr Woolf.

Max speed of 65mph recorded Station Road. Will now be placed on Fengate.
