Present: Dist. Cllr Casson, Cllrs Wakefield, Sneath, Ingham, Henderson, Hahn, Cooper, Wright, Tibbs, Woolf, two members of the public and Parish Clerk.

The Chairman welcomed everyone to the July meeting.

A member of the public thanked the council for the new bench at the war memorial at MSE.

Concerned resident contacted clerk about the amount of grass cutting and maintenance. This was discussed and agreed the current regime and schedule is working.

Dead tree removal discussed. Cllr Tibbs agreed to look at the root to see if it would be easy to pull out.

Potential new bus stop on village green discussed. Agreed to have a site meeting (all councillors) to look at the options.

 

 

 

13) M S E Ward

 

Cllr Wright handed councillors a letter in regards to the MSE playing field stating that the charity is folding and the field would be handed back to the parish council. The field assets would be going to charities. The gates were offered to the pc at a price of £180. The funds would go to the Moulton Celebration Committee. Proposed by Cllr Tibbs and seconded by Cllr Sneath to approve this after the council had received confirmation from the Charities Commission that the charity had ceased.

 

Clerk to get quotes for ongoing grass cutting.

 

 

14) Moulton Chapel

 

New play equipment quotes discussed. Agreed on quote one. Proposed by Cllr Sneath and seconded Cllr Hahn.

Proposed by Cllr Ingham, seconded Cllr Sneath to go into closed session to discuss the council’s complaint they are due to make to a playground installation company.

Agreed to meet the company on site to show the concerns to the installation team.
