1) Chairman’s welcome 

Vice Chairman welcomed everyone to the June meeting.

 

2) Public Forum 

The two members of the public gave an overview of a planning project they hope to submit in an application in the near future on High Road, Moulton.

Mr Adcock gave an update on the park and reminded everyone the official opening is 12th July.

Churchyard

The broken tomb has now been made safe. Clerk explained there is a concerned neighbour with ivy growing up their wall from the churchyard. Agreed to get the Marriotts to cut off and kill the ivy to prevent more growth.

Agreed holders can use water from the cemetery if needs be in the dry spell.

12) Moulton Ward

Clerk explained to councillors where the planning process is up to in regards to the play area and footpath. Agreed for the Clerk to get 3 quotes for the footpath and include tarmac for the cemetery and to be agreed over the summer so that a contractor can be instructed swiftly. Proposed by Cllr Woolf, seconded Cllr Sneath.

 

13) M S E Ward

Playing field maintenance costs discussed. Cllr Wright explained that the football club currently pay £200 a month to use the field and they cut and line the field themselves. The need for new litter bins at the field due to vandalism was discussed. Agreed for Cllr Wright to bring forward a quote(s) for new litter bins to the next meeting in September and the council will look at contributing to half.

Play area turf discussed and agreed to put on the agenda next time.

Cllr Wright asked if two drain covers in the village hall car park could be rectified by LCC.

 

14) Moulton Chapel

Clerk explained that the MC Community Centre has asked for a legal document between the PC and themselves to confirm to their insurance company that the PC own the building.

Cllr Wakefield agreed he would ask ex councillors for more information.
