The Chair (Geoff Cooper) has called An Extraordinary meeting. It will be held on Monday 7th August at Moulton Community Centre at 7pm.

If necessary, to consider passing a resolution under section100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, to exclude the press and public from the meeting in order to discuss any items of business that may involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in those paragraphs of part 1 of schedule12A of that Act as amended by the Local Government Access to Information (variation) Order 2006.

 

 

 Minutes of the Extraordinary Parish Meeting of The Moulton’s Parish Council held on Monday 7th August 2023 at Moulton Community Centre. 

 

Present: Parish Cllrs Cooper (Chair), Woolf, Henderson, Hahn, Kirk, Sanderson, Ingham, Sneath and Wright along with Parish Clerk. 

 

 

 The Chairman Cllr Cooper welcomed everyone to the meeting.

 

 

1) Apologies for Absence 

Cllr Tibbs, Cllr Wakefield

 

2) Declarations of interest 

Cllr Sneath and Woolf declared they are District Councillors.

 

3) Play Park

A tenancy at will was passed around for all councillors to view. Cllr Hahn reminded councillors what came to light on the old pre application (Dec 2022). Cllr Kirk agreed the same reports, (ecology etc.) would be needed for the new application and councillors should consider the cost of these reports. Cllr Woolf asked for point 2 to be reworded on the tenancy and then it was proposed to go ahead and sign (Geoff Cooper), seconded Cllr Kirk, all agreed.

Finances and contractors were discussed regarding the park. Cllr Kirk proposed more quotes were sought, seconded Cllr Cooper. All agreed.
